A meaningful addition to your employee wellbeing program

Finding time for a comprehensive medical assessment can be difficult, particularly for employees working long hours or across changing rosters.

Zenith brings specialist cardiac services directly to your team. With a team comprising two Hospital Directors, Zenith Cardiology is focused on tailored care and specialist expertise. Appointments are planned around your operations, with participants requiring less than an hour away from their duties.

Each employee receives their own confidential clinical assessment, with results explained by a cardiologist and a clear plan for any recommended follow-up.

What your employees receive

Private health assessment

A confidential health and medical history questionnaire completed before their appointment.

Blood pressure and 12-lead ECG

Assessment of blood pressure and the heart's electrical activity.

Echocardiogram

An ultrasound examination of the heart, including myocardial strain imaging, performed by a cardiac sonographer.

Cardiologist consultation

A specialist review of results, personalised recommendations and a written clinical summary.

Our comprehensive package also includes a nurse assessment, cholesterol and diabetes blood tests, and a six-month review where clinically indicated. Executive options include exercise stress echocardiography.

What your organisation receives

  • Simple coordination. We manage enrolments, bookings, staff reminders, clinical results and follow-up.
  • Flexible delivery. Assessments at your premises or our Bundall clinic, scheduled around your team's availability.
  • De-identified reporting. A program summary showing participation and aggregated cardiovascular health findings, where group size permits.
  • Support for your wellbeing program. Staff communications and information to make participation straightforward.

How an on-site assessment day works

Plan the day

We agree on participant numbers, suitable dates and room arrangements. Your team receives a staff information pack and enrolment link.

Employees attend

Participants complete a confidential pre-assessment and attend their scheduled appointment. Allow approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the package.

Specialist review and follow-up

A Zenith cardiologist reviews the investigations and meets privately with each participant by telehealth. Employees receive a written summary and any recommended next steps.

Your program report

Once assessments are complete, your organisation receives a de-identified summary to support future wellbeing planning.

Frequently asked questions

Can assessments take place at our workplace?

Yes. We provide on-site assessments across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, or appointments at our Bundall clinic. Executive assessments are conducted at Bundall.

How many employees can participate?

On-site programs accommodate eight Essential or ten Comprehensive participants per clinical team per day. Larger groups can be scheduled across multiple teams or days. There is no minimum for clinic-based appointments.

What facilities do we need?

A private room with access to power for Essential assessments, or two private rooms for Comprehensive assessments. Our team brings the clinical equipment and supplies.

Do employees need a GP referral?

No separate GP referral is required to participate in this privately funded program.

What happens if an assessment identifies a concern?

Our clinicians review the findings, discuss them directly with the employee and arrange or recommend appropriate follow-up. Urgent findings are escalated promptly.

Is this a fitness-for-work assessment?

No. The program is a voluntary employee health benefit and complements ongoing medical care. It is not an occupational fitness or medical clearance assessment.
